As Sure As The Sun Bass Tab

  1. I've pretty much learned the bass to "Third Rock from the Lord's day" past Jimi Hendrix but at that place are a few parts I want to verify and check the fingering on. I looked at all the tablature I could find using Google and information technology was all Manner off! Can anyone straight me to the Right tab for this song?

    Thanks!

  2. which parts.i'll wait them upward
  3. OK, the first part I'm pretty sure is Eastward, D, A, E but should the East be played every bit an open E or the E on the A cord? It sounds like the E on the A string. This design and so moves to a different position for a few measures when Jimi does a "G" affair, so I think the bass plays,
Yard, F, C, G...gut in what position? Next, during the cool, two string main theme, sounds like the bass is playing E E E, G flat, E, G flat, B, B, B, B...but desire to verify notes and position.

THe adjacent pattern appears to exist B, D, East....B, D, Due east...for quite a while.

The final design I think is essentially an E, with a climb from a lower annotation: demand clarification on these notes.

Any help would exist greatly appreciated as I'thousand trying to smash this song.

  4. For this part, hither is my proposal (I tried several way to play it, just this ane is the easier one for me)

For the other points, I have no idea :p

    G|--------|4444464-|
    D|-----4-6|-------6|
    A|77777-7-|--------|
    East|--------|--------|

  5. the first 8 bars are open E D at fifth fret A at seventh fret D @ 5th.............iv bars of the aforementioned pattern starting on open up A.........then four bars of pattern 1...........Cnatural.......B

    D D# E East E F#E 1000#

    B B B C# B 1000#

  6. Jim, thanks - I'll attempt it out.
Kenstee, bassmasta had the wrong notes/tab for 3rd Rock - I'k pretty certain it'due south wrong.
  7. Don't know if you got this already, but here are the parts. If you lot tin make them out. The first role is open East,D(a string),A(d string),D(a string). The change is the same blueprint and starts on the open up A, existence A,G,D,G. The octave guitar part starts on the A string seventh fret (eighth notes) E,E,Due east,E,Eastward,F#,Eastward,G#, ( slide from Due east to G#) and so to B(d string) eleventh fret B,B,B,B,B,C#,B,M#,(dorsum to the A string for the G#). And so the adjacent function is (a string) Eastward,E,E,E, (e string) G#,A,A#,A#,B,B, (a cord) C#,C#,D,D,D#,D#, then back to the octave guitar office. The last role is E(a string),B (e string),D(a string). Like this/ E, BDE, BDE, and then on. That's a existent fun melody to play. I've been playing it since I started 18 years ago! It'due south especially fun to play when your guitar thespian is willing to wreck his guitar at the end to get the sounds right.
